Jenna-Louise Coleman teases 'spine-tingling' Doctor Who Finale
Jenna-Louise Coleman has hinted that Doctor Who's series seven finale will be 'spine-tingling'.
The as-yet unnamed episode has been penned by Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat and is expected to lead into the 50th anniversary special.

Coleman has now revealed that one of the major reveals in the season finale will be why the Victorian-era version of Clara's birthday is November 23, the same day that Doctor Who premiered in 1963.
"In the Christmas episode, I didn't know why that was the case. But again, we will find out by the end of this series," she told TV Guide.
The actress added of the finale: "It's really exciting - [it] is phenomenal. My spine was tingling when I read it.
"Again, I'm teasing you so badly here, but there's the beginning opening sequence, which [is] kind of building up into the 50th. It's just huge."
Coleman also opened up about the very first time she walked onto the new TARDIS set while filming last year's Christmas episode 'The Snowmen'.
"It was strange because obviously it was a brand-new TARDIS, so it was a set that nobody's ever used before or seen before at this point," the star recalled. "But this is where you're going to be for however many [of] the next couple of seasons or years, so it's like mine and Matt's new place."
She went on to say: "For him, he was running up and down all the stairs like a giddy kid who got his toy back. We didn't actually have the TARDIS for the first four months of me shooting because it was still being built.
"So it was pushed away in a dark corner and cordoned off so nobody could go in and look at it."
Coleman previously admitted that landing a role on Doctor Who was the first job that has impressed her family and has called the series a "mad" adventure.
Doctor Who continues this weekend with the Mark Gatiss-penned 'Cold War', which features the return of iconic monsters the Ice Warriors.
The series airs on BBC One in the UK and BBC America in the US.

Doctor Who: series 7 Casting News
Monday, July 2, 2012
Courtesy of tomorrow's edition of Doctor Who Magazine comes news of three guest cast members appearing opposite Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman in series 7. Those names? Jessica Raine, David Warner, and Liam Cunningham.
Raine, who was most recently seen as lead Jenny Lee in BBC drama Call The Midwife, will be popping up alongside Mission: Impossible II and Desperate Housewives' Dougray Scott in the Neil Cross-penned episode, which has already been filmed. Cross has migrated to Who from Luther and Spooks, and this episode marks his debut on the show.
David Warner, who's been in all sort of geek fare over the years from Tron to Twin Peaks, The Outer Limits, and more than one iteration of Star Trek, is to co-star with Game of Thrones' Liam Cunningham in Mark Gatiss' historical episode, the script for which Blogtor Who informs us has been teased to include the words "meat", "klaxon" and "Vienna". There, now with those three words to go on, how can we complain that Who's creators never reveal anything?

Doctor Who News: Series 7 Confirmed!
Friday, June 10, 2011

The BBC has ordered a further series of Doctor Who, and Matt Smith will be reprising the role of the Doctor for it. Details here...
Published on Jun 8, 2011
As we settle into the mid-season break for Doctor Who series 6, the BBC has confirmed some news that should make the wait a little more bearable. And it's this: there are fourteen more episodes of Doctor Who definitely on the way, once series 6 has finished later this year.
Those fourteen episodes, we're assuming, will take in the usual Christmas special, and a thirteen-episode run next year. We're guessing that the BBC and production team will opt for the mid-series split once more, although that hasn't been confirmed.
What has been, though, is that Matt Smith will be returning for the full fourteen-episode run. Given the speculation last year that he would be walking away from the series at the end of the second series, which all involved denied, this should prevent the same thing happening again.
That said, whether he'll reprise the role of the Doctor for series eight in 2013 is, no doubt, more open to doubt. One year at a time, though.
More interestingly, there's the issue of who will be joining the Doctor on his travels. We'd be surprised if we get three straight years of the Doctor, Amy and Rory in the Tardis, and were we betting people, we'd suggest that a new companion may be thrown into the mix for next year.
