Following the teaser released during the World Cup final. The BBC have finally released a proper trailer ahead of it's supposed air date in October.
Where as the Teaser trailer was more to fit in with the World Cup theme, This trailer has actual clips from the Series and gives us a taste of whats to come.
The release of the Trailer coincides with the Doctor Who Series 11 Panel at San Diego Comic Con.
Anyone else feeling excited for Series 11 just a little more now?
“Selfie” was 2013′s Oxford Dictionaries word of the year. It was the subject of studies about self-image, introspective essays and head-lice scares. It’s the title of a hit song. And now — because none of that was enough — it’s going to be a TV show.
Deadline reports that ABC has picked up the pilot for the comedy Selfie, which is, improbably enough, based on My Fair Lady. Karen Gillan of Doctor Who fame stars as Eliza Dooley, an Internet-famous selfie star who realizes that her zillions of followers don’t mean she has any actual friends. John Cho co-stars as the marketer she hires to help make her seem less self(ie)-centered so that she can make friends offline.
Apparently, there will be a plot line about Candy Crush. No word yet whether she’ll have to learn how to properly pronounce the emoji-sentence “raindrop-umbrella-Spanish flag-autumn leaf-autumn leaf-airplane.”
Earlier this year, Channel 4 secured the rights to air the U.S Remake of the Classic British Show 'The Tomorrow People'.
The original Show aired in the UK from 1973 - 1979. It was also remade and aired in the 1990's.
The show currently airs in US on The CW channel.
The air date for the Uk viewing is the 8th January on E4 at 9pm
Here is a bit about the show:
They are the next evolutionary shift of mankind – a generation of humans born with paranormal abilities. They are the Tomorrow People. Based on the original UK TV series from the 1970s, the show follows the trials and tribulations faced by this genetically advanced race who have the abilities to teleport and communicate telepathically. Hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra who see the Tomorrow People as a very real threat, the outcast group hides out in an abandoned subway station just beneath the surface of the human world. However, Stephen Jameson (Robbie Amell), the newest member of this small group of Tomorrow People, is torn between his loyalty to the group who have become his new family, the offer of the Ultra who promise him his old life back and his own desires to explore his father’s mysterious disappearance.
The 100 (The Hundred) is based on the book by author Kass Morgan.
The Storyline is as follows:
Set 97 years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, when a spaceship housing humanity's lone survivors sends 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth in hopes of possibly re-populating the planet.
I am currently reading the book and it is really good I would recommend it.
The show will air in the US on the channel The CW on 19th March 2014 and will air in the UK on the Channel E4 on an currently Unknown date.
So... I hope all you UK fans have enjoyed 'Cold War' and those who haven't seen it, what are you waiting for! Get watching!!!
Anyway as all us whovians know there's a trailer at the end of each episode for the following week. Next weeks episode is called 'Hide' and appears to be set in a haunted house of sorts. With guest appearances from the likes of 'Call The Midwife's" Jessica Raine. Check out the posters and trailer below
