'Doctor Who' series finale title revealed

The title of the series finale of Doctor Who has been revealed.

The BBC announced that the last episode in the current series will be called 'The Name of the Doctor'.

A teaser for the remaining episodes read: "We've a trip to a haunted house, a journey to the centre of the TARDIS and a nightmare clash with the mighty Cybermen."

Several former Doctor Who stars have recently been confirmed to return for the show's 50th anniversary show in November, including David Tennant, Billie Piper and Jemma Redgrave.

The special, directed by Nick Hurran, will be filmed in 3D.

Doctor Who continues tomorrow (April 20) at 6.45pm on BBC One with the new episode 'Hide'.
